For the umpteen times, i felt that singapore government should do something about the courtesy campaign or you know, emphasize MORE on the civic and moral subject.
1st - Hubby called me and told me to bring Jayr to meet him at tampines mall for dinner. So both me and Jayr walked slowly to the nearby bus stop and board a bus. The seats were fully taken, including those reserved seats. I dun mind about the reserved seats as in they were all senior citizens whom couldn't even stand firmly enough. But what about the rest?! Students, young adults, healthy and able people. You know i was like so disappointed with each and everyone of them. So cruel!!! A preggy carrying a child standing while the bus was moving! Not only inconsiderate, but also CRUEL! They even have the cheeks to keep looking at us like visitors looking at animals like that! nabeh cb. One day their wife, daughter, sister will get pregnant too! or even themselves!
2nd - Once we boarded train during peak hour. So expected it will be very packed la. Den when i finally saw there's a seat available, i carefully walked towards it... and den, a YOUNG MAN dashed out and sat on it. YOUNG MAN snatched seat with preggy!!! He even looked up at me and den gave me the "do i give it a damn" look. chao chee bye. Luckily i was calm enough, otherwise i really feel like kicking him in his face. And the rest sat beside was like looking and amazed by his behavior, yet said nothing. No one fight for a preggy, bcuz they were the same examples ma! Dun give up seat and dun bother at all. Especially those still have the cheek to sit on the reserved seats and pretended nothing wrong abt it.
So far, the worst i have encountered is the one on the bus. Terrible right?
Its like we alone cant do anything abt it. So the sibeh eng government should do something about it. I mean like they asked Gurmit Singh to sing about the courtesy thing but den only publish it on train and train station. Telecast it on TV too!!! dumbass! And den keep emphasize about it and also make headlines! Not only for preggy but also for old folks. You know sometimes they also need us preggy to give up seats to them? And sometimes they give up seats to me? Like hello, old people give up seat to preggy and preggy to old people. So pathetic!!!!
Anyway, i think i have counted wrongly. LOL. So now.... Lets count with me >>>
