Especially this month, i dunno why, but to see so many funerals around... one after another, so spooky lor!
Elders once said that when this month comes, its time for many "wanted souls" to go. Like, for men, they have to avoid 3, 6, 9. Which means their age containing these unlucky digits. And women, 2, 4, 6.

Which i think quite true. Eg: my daddy passed away at the age of 56. 6 is the killer digit! I got shotgun when Hubby was 26. 6 again!!! (im not saying 6 is the only "suay" digit la... just real life eg:.)

There are so many rules passed down from those traditional old folks, but some are just so ridiculous to follow la, others are what i think have to strictly oblige.

  1. Never stay out too late if possible.
  2. Bring in those hanging clothes outside of the window before sun set.
  3. Dun hang children's clothes around.
  4. DO NOT step on grasses, or any non-walking path.
  5. DO NOT SPIT anywhere u like.
  6. AVOID using mirror when u are outside.
  7. DO NOT call out names of anyone with you.
  8. Keep the house bright by allowing sunlight in.
  9. Keep the toilet clean and bright. (Dirty and dark toilet invites "them")
  10. Have an amulet with you for protection at all times.

OK. above all are what i always practice during this month. And trust me, better is to believe and follow strictly. if u are any other religion or race, i tell you, its really no harm avoiding those unneccessary things from happening. ur choice la. up to you. all i can say is God Bless You!

For ur info, no.4 is actually what i've learnt from a malay friend whom had encountered something during 7th month. And since then, her whole family believes that this month is REAL!

Oh... and one more thing is, if u suddenly smell something nice or whatever, dun comment bt it ok! just ignore and quickly walk away into crowd. dun go saying, "wah... smell so nice...." i tell you, after that no one can save you.

I say this not for fun or entertainment. U think i so free ah? i am damn busy with my new house thing and also today is Hubby's off day but i am still here blogging this. why? cuz i dun wan any of you to have any mishap. u know??? and many of those above are like from true life experiences of others and i learnt from them and den know what to avoid. and now sharing with u peeps.

Guai guai and follow ok. haa.
